If it wasn't already obvious enough, this is a shrine dedicated to the Yu-Gi-Oh characters Ryou Bakura, Yami Bakura, and Thief King Bakura, as well as mentions of Zorc Necrophades, Amane Bakura, and other adjacent characters. They are my favorite characters in Yu-Gi-Oh and fiction in general and have taken my brain hostage. This shrine will have information of these characters but will also have me rambling and fangirling on how much I love these guys. More fannish things if you will.
I would also like to clarify before we continue, I do NOT worship or hold any of the Bakurae as a deity or any religious figure. Please see the second definition of the word shrine. Last time I checked, god existed before 1996. I apologize if this seems unnecessary and obvious, but it is imperative that I clear this up as I am a religious person. This is not a space for people to worship fictional characters.
If you don't know who I am, hi! I'm Epix, I'm an artist, animator, writer, basically any creative thing I can get my hands on. And most relevant to the site, I'm a huge fan of Yu-Gi-Oh and Bakura! Ever since I "rewatched" the show in 2023, (I watched it when it aired on TV but I can barely recall,) I've always had my eye on Bakura, he was always an interesting character to me as I love more mysterious characters. The more I watched, the more I grew fonder of him. I have more in depth explainations on why I particularly love him on each indiviual character page, but for a summary, I heavily relate to these characters, (mainly Ryou), and it makes me feel seen. I also in general get really giddy when he's on screen.
